Strategic advisory and coaching for business owners designing what comes next

How I help.

Running a business isn’t hard. It’s relentless.

Decisions stack up, pressure builds, and the space to think clearly slowly disappears. You’re moving quickly, solving problems, responding to clients, leading your team. On the outside, it looks like momentum. On the inside, it can feel reactive. Busy, but not always intentional.

That’s usually when we start working together.

I work one-on-one with business owners at critical moments, when the decisions in front of you actually matter. My role is to bring structure and perspective. To help you step back from the day-to-day noise and see what really needs attention now, and what can wait.

Some weeks we are deep in the business. Working on strategy, vision, and growth. Tightening the plan and making sure effort is going in the right direction.

Other weeks the focus shifts to you. How you are thinking. The decisions you are avoiding. The pressure you are carrying. Because when your thinking changes, the business follows.

The outcome is not just a better plan.
It is clarity.
Momentum.
And a business that feels deliberate rather than reactive.

That is what you step into when you join Futures Club.

Who it's for.

The Founder

Perhaps you are building something you believe should exist in the world.

It could be a SaaS product, a platform, a studio or a consultancy. It may be live, or close to launch.

There is momentum. Features are being built. Offers are taking shape. Early customers are engaging. You might even be speaking with investors.

Then the pressure shifts.

It is no longer just about building.
It is about driving awareness, generating demand and turning interest into revenue.

You are thinking about positioning, pricing, partnerships and what the business needs to look like six months from now. The decisions begin to stack up.

This is where a strategic thinking partner matters.

The work is about strengthening the foundations beneath the ambition. Clarifying your proposition and go-to-market strategy. Getting clear on who it is for and why it matters. Preparing the business to scale or attract investment.

So you are not just launching something new.
You are building a business designed to grow.

The Scaler

For business owners ready to grow, but unsure how to do it without increasing risk.

The business is working, but it feels fragile.

The pipeline is lumpy.
Markets have shifted.
Forecasting feels harder than it should.
The runway always feels tighter than expected.

You may feel like you are a few decisions away from stability, but never quite there. This is where I spend a lot of my time, particularly with service-based businesses.

The work focuses on:

  • Stabilising revenue and improving predictability
  • Strengthening the pipeline and sharpening the sales approach
  • Reviewing the offer and how it is positioned in market
  • Improving profitability and cost discipline
  • Activating the team around a clear, shared plan
  • Creating enough runway to make better long-term decisions

The aim is simple.

Move the business from reactive to resilient.

The Exiter

You are starting to think about what comes after the business.

That might mean a full exit. A partial step back. Or a broader shift in how you want to work and live.

This stage is rarely about rushing a decision.
It is about understanding your options and strengthening the business so you have genuine choice rather than pressure.

The work focuses on clarity and timing.

Preparing the business to stand on its own. Preparing you for the next chapter. Ensuring decisions are made from strength, not fatigue.

Because the best exits are deliberate, not reactive.

Advisory Retainer

The Advisory Retainer is the core way I work with clients.

It is designed for business owners and founders who want ongoing, high-trust support as they navigate growth, change, or transition.

We work with clear monthly and quarterly priorities, but week to week the focus stays on what matters most in the business right now.

Sometimes that is strategy.
Sometimes it is execution.
Sometimes it is stabilising the business.
Sometimes it is thinking further ahead.

What makes this different

In addition to a monthly retainer, some engagements include a performance incentive.

Where appropriate, we agree upfront on the outcomes that matter most to your business. This might include improving profitability, preparing for investment, accelerating growth, or creating momentum after a flat or challenging period.

This creates alignment and keeps the focus on performance, not activity.

Most clients engage for three months or more, with many continuing as the partnership becomes part of their leadership rhythm.

About.

Futures Club exists because I’ve lived what it takes to build, scale and exit a business.

It’s shaped by the kind of support I wish I had as an owner and leader.

I know what it feels like to carry responsibility for a team, clients and family. To grow before everything is figured out. To speak with investors early. And to choose a conscious exit, not as a failure, but as a deliberate decision about what comes next.

Futures Club was created to work alongside people who are in it, making real decisions under real pressure.

This isn’t advice from the sidelines. It’s practical, grounded support for leaders who need clear thinking at moments that matter.

My career has always centred on growth, transformation and commercial judgement.

In 2024, I exited a digital consulting business I co-founded and helped grow from the ground up. Over five years we built a 40-person team across Australia and New Zealand, won and delivered multi-million dollar enterprise projects and generated over $30 million in revenue during that time.

But it’s not all about experience, it’s about perspective.

Growth is rarely about doing more. It’s about focus. It’s about making the right decisions at the right time.

My role is to bring clarity to those moments. To help you think clearly, pressure-test decisions before they become expensive, and move forward with intent rather than reaction.

If you’re ready to design what comes next, for yourself or your business, I’d love to help.

FAQ's.

Is this coaching or consulting?

It is a blend of both, depending on what delivers the best outcome at the time.

What actually happens in the Advisory Retainer?

The Advisory Retainer is a regular, high-touch partnership with weekly, monthly and 90-day touchpoints. We work together to clarify priorities that help drive growth (sales & marketing) or enable growth (people & operations), pressure-test decisions, and maintain momentum across the business and your role as a leader. The focus evolves as the business evolves.

How is this different from traditional business coaching?

This is not formula-driven or motivational coaching. It is grounded, commercial, and practical advisory. I work alongside you in real decisions, real numbers, and real situations that help grow your business.

What is the performance incentive and how does it work?

For some advisory engagements, we agree on a clear set of outcomes at the start of the relationship. These may relate to growth, profitability, investment readiness, or creating momentum in the business.

Where it makes sense, part of my fee is linked to achieving those outcomes. This creates alignment, shared accountability, and a clear focus on performance rather than activity. The structure is tailored and agreed upfront.

Do you work with early-stage businesses?

Sometimes. The work is most valuable when a business is at a meaningful moment, such as preparing to launch, scale, raise capital, or mature it’s operations.

Do you support businesses preparing for investment or sale?

Yes. I help owners clarify their positioning, strengthen commercial foundations, and make deliberate decisions so they approach investment or exit from a position of confidence rather than pressure.

How long do clients usually work with you?

Most clients engage for six months or more, with many staying longer through periods of growth or transition. As the business grows, different decisions emerge and that’s why this partnership works.

Why do you work with a small number of clients?

The work is high-touch and personal. Limiting the number of clients ensures depth, responsiveness, and meaningful impact.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. All advisory and coaching work can be delivered remotely.
